back to work

Daily Market Commentary for August 28: Many investors and market professionals came back to work yesterday after the summer break. Unlike last year, this August was relatively calm and tranquil. Equities continue in waiting mode as all hopes are with Ben Bernanke and Super Mario. Odds for intervention through QE3 are decreasing but investors still see them has being high and are anxiously waiting for this Friday when Ben Bernanke will speak at Jackson Hole. In Europe no one knows for sure what the ECB plans are but many voices are joining together at the side of ECB intervention through a bond-buying program.  The Euro is behaving pretty well even with equities being brought down.
